Beth Grimes, LVT, CVPM

Beth Grimes originally hails from Western New York, where she graduated from Alfred State College in 2003.  Beth is District Vet’s Hospital Administrator and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hospital.

She has been a practicing veterinary technician in several different veterinary medical fields. Beth has experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at one of the largest humane societies in New York State along with working as Lead Veterinary Technician at a high quality / high volume spay / neuter clinic in Buffalo New York and previously at the Washington Humane Society here in the District. In 2018 Beth became a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager. Beth also has been working as a LVT at an emergency practice in Buffalo, NY.

Beth is extremely excited to be back in Washington to assist Dr. Dan Teich and the rest of the team with District Veterinary Hospital. She is looking forward to building a lasting relationship with the families and friends that will be entering District Veterinary Hospital’s doors.

She is brings with her Nala, who you may see helping Brian with greeting duties on occasion. Nala is a domestic shorthair cat, who was adopted from a shelter as a kitten after extensive foster care. She is very affectionate, and often forgets that she is a cat, and not a person. Make sure to say “hi” while you’re in the office!
